15th Annual Jamaica Market Harvest Festival

On October 17^th, Greater Jamaica Development Corporation will be hosting the 15^th annual Harvest Festival featuring farmers, food, games, live music and entertainment. Farmers from New Jersey, Long Island and New York will be selling farm fresh produce. Family friendly events include pumpkin decorating, face painting, clowns and a magic show. Local chefs will demonstrate their culinary talents in a baked pie contest, 3 prizes will be given to the winners in the amounts of $200, $150 & $100. Prest 4 Time,a Smooth R&B and Live Jazz Band will perform to put everyone into the fall spirit. Also featured will be storytelling and demonstrations by The Federation of Black Cowboys. The festival will be held at the Jamaica Market and along 160^th street between Jamaica & 90^th Avenue in downtown Jamaica. Admission is Free.
